Let's get your export saved.
Select conversations in Gmail, click Export emails, then Export ZIP. Keep Gmail and the export tab open until Export saved appears.
Common questions
Where are my PDFs and attachments?
Click Show in folder after the export saves. Extract the ZIP to open its folders. Each conversation has its own PDF and, when present, an attachments folder. Original filenames, sizes and checksums are recorded in export-report.json.
I installed it, but I can't see Export emails.
Open Gmail in desktop Chrome and refresh the Gmail tab after installation. Select conversations using Gmail's checkboxes. You can also click the extension's toolbar icon while Gmail is the active tab.
My selection expired or Gmail disconnected.
Return to Gmail, refresh if needed, select the conversations again and click Export emails. Keep that Gmail tab and account open. A selection is short lived, and reloading an already opened export tab does not restore it.
A conversation or download failed.
Use the retry action shown beside the error. Completed conversations are retained during a retry. Save partial export is an explicit choice to save available conversations, with omissions recorded. If download completion could not be confirmed, check Chrome's downloads before retrying.
Some images are missing or disabled.
Enable Include external images in Export details if you want external email images. Only supported images available through Gmail's Google image proxy can be included. Unavailable locations are marked in the PDF and counted in the report. Explicit unlabeled external 1-by-1-pixel images are omitted. Original inline attachment files are kept separately.
How much can I export at once?
Free: up to 3 conversations per batch. Pro: up to 50. Both support up to 200 emails and 100 MiB of source content plus fetched images. The final ZIP is limited to 200 MiB. Split larger collections into smaller selections. Large individual images and unsupported layouts can produce a notice or an explicit failure.
How do I move Pro to another browser?
Open Export details in the export tab, choose Restore a purchase and paste your saved license key. One purchase supports 2 active browsers. If both slots are occupied, deactivate an old browser in the list shown there. Gmail accounts are not tied to the license.
I paid but Pro did not activate, or I lost my key.
Return to the extension and continue checkout before paying again. The extension checks the saved purchase first. If you still need help, email hello@samistudio.nl with your Stripe receipt or order reference. We can verify the purchase and help recover the key. Do not send card details or Gmail messages.
Can I get a refund?
Request a refund within 30 days by emailing hello@samistudio.nl with your Stripe receipt or order reference. A refund deactivates Pro. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected. See the purchase terms.
Does exporting change my Gmail messages?
The extension reads chosen conversations. It has no send, delete, label or mark-read operation. PDFs contain From, To, Cc and Date, rather than every original header. They are readable records, not an authenticity certification or a complete original-message archive.
When contacting support: include the extension version, Chrome version and the exact error message. Crop or redact screenshots. Please don't send passwords, session information or private email attachments.
